Developer data collection

There is no account, advertising, tracking, or developer analytics SDK. Camera images, OCR text, amounts, translation text, and booking documents are not sent to developer servers.

Camera, photos, and files

Camera processing and OCR run on the device. Live price frames are not saved as files. Receipt and menu images are held temporarily for processing. Only documents you explicitly attach to a booking are saved in the app's local storage. The photo picker reads selected items only. Image attachments are resized with image metadata removed; PDFs may retain their original contents and metadata.

Local storage and deletion

Rates and settings use UserDefaults. Bookings and attachments are stored on the device and excluded from iCloud backup; the app provides no cloud sync or backup service. Deleting a booking removes its saved attachments. Deleting the app removes its local data. OS backup of settings follows Apple's system settings.

External requests

Automatic rate retrieval sends a date and USD/JPY to api.frankfurter.dev, not images or recognized amounts. Network information such as an IP address necessarily reaches the service. Frankfurter's published policy says it retains no personal-data, IP-address, or request-URL logs and uses aggregate Cloudflare traffic statistics. Manual mode starts no automatic fetch; an already-started request may finish.

Apple translation

Full-text translation runs on-device. Initial language downloads contact Apple. Apple may collect translation feature usage and performance information, but not the source or translated text. Apple services and system diagnostics follow Apple's policies.

Support and external links

Opening support links contacts the website host. Emails you choose to send use your email address and message to answer your request. No app content is automatically attached. We update this policy when functionality changes. Developer: Koji Tamatsu.
