Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 16, 2026
1. Information handled by the app
The app may store photos, text recognized on-device, titles, notes, categories, source URLs, optional location data, reminder dates, settings, and StoreKit transaction information needed to determine purchased access.
2. Storage and external services
Your content is stored on your iPhone. If iCloud is enabled, it is also stored in your private Apple CloudKit database and synchronized across devices using the same Apple Account. The developer cannot view it. Photo text recognition runs on-device, and photos or recognized text are not sent to a developer server.
The app uses no developer account, advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics. Apple location and geocoding services may obtain a place name when requested. Purchases and restoration are processed through StoreKit and the App Store.
3. Permissions
Camera, Photos, Location, and Notification permissions are optional and requested only for related features. You can change them in iPhone Settings.
4. Backups
A user-created JSON backup can contain photos, recognized text, notes, URLs, and location data. It is sent only to the destination you select and is not automatically sent to the developer.
5. Retention and deletion
Content is retained until you delete it. You can delete individual cards or all saved cards. With iCloud sync enabled, deletion synchronizes to your other devices. Removing the app alone may leave its private iCloud data intact.
6. Your choices
You can view, edit, delete, and back up content in the app, and control permissions and iCloud in iPhone Settings.
7. Children’s privacy
The app does not intentionally collect personal information from children and has no developer-operated account registration.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated when features or applicable requirements change. Material updates will be posted on this page.
